majolica ashtray pair. 2 small, very old majolica ashtrays with 4 rests each, made in Japan.
They are a lovely soft pastel green with a scattering of multi colored small raised flowers.
Each ashtray measures c. 3.1/2" square. There is an old logo underneath, with a K in the center, and the word Japan.
These small ashtrays are very clean, and could be used for small items such as paperclips, rings, pins etc. They are in good vintage condition, no chips or cracks, one of them shows good age crazing lines.
