This is a print of an old matchbook made for the Club Continental in Glendale during the 1930's. The nightclub catered to movie stars and the wealthy. It was shut down around 1938 because an illegal gambling casino was located in the basement. The matches have stylish patrons on each stick and the cover shows customers arriving for an entertaining evening. I think this is a great matchbook.
Most people keep matchbooks in bowls or notebooks. I put my collection on the wall so that I can appreciate and see all sides at once - front, back and inside. This is the design I made for this nice matchbook, and I have made prints of it so that other people can enjoy it too.
The print is on heavy matte photo paper (my name will not be written across the design). The image is 7 x 10 inches and comes in an 11 x 14 inch white mat ready to frame. It will be mailed in a bubble type envelope with cardboard backing to protect it from damage during shipment.
