From the reverse: Helmet mask (eharo), from Melanesia, New Guinea. Bark cloth, paint, cane frame, and raffia. 28-3/4" high (with ruff, 37-3/4"). Courtesy The Museum of Primitive Art, New York. Photo by Charles Uht.
A bold graphic poster used as a teaching aid in art and graphic design education. Printed on heavy cardstock, with descriptive text on reverse. This series of classroom posters was originally published in 1968, but I believe this to be from a later edition (most likely circa 1970). Ready for framing (frame not included).
Minor wear from classroom use, with pin holes at the upper corners. Water damage along the bottom edge, with some staining and a small ripple in the paper.
Please note: This poster has been stored flat, but will ship rolled in a poster tube. We recommend removing it from the tube to frame or store flat as soon as possible.
