This is a stunning ceramic, lidded box by Dutch ceramicist Jan van Erp.
Rough, grey exterior, and selenium glazed interior and lid.
c. 1960s
Condition: excellent (one of the corners has a tiny manufacturing flaw (see photo #4), which looks like a small crack on the inside of the box. This does in no way take away from the beauty of this item, and does not affect its quality)
