This is a .pdf copy of this instruction and pattern book. The book itself is in Good condition and has copied very well into the .pdf file.
I find that when I copy these older files to the computer, I'm able to enlarge the pattern instructions and image to help me figure out what I'm trying to accomplish. For people that suffer from allergies, you avoid that whole possibility of mildew, mold, cigarette or pet contamination.

This is an assortment of hats, bags and belts to crochet. There are no instructions for crocheting included in the booklet. Instructions for 14 different projects are included.
After finding this book I started researching what 'Gimp' was. It is still being manufactured today in a widely different material combination than from the 1930s. 'Gimp' is a single ply string or cord at about a size 3 cord width. It was sometimes a single ply string with another fiber wrapped around it. You can still find some vintage Gimp available on auction sites on-line but I wouldn't invest in any of it. Due to the nature of the materials used in the manufacture the vintage Gimp had a limited shelf life.
If you use a modern cord of a size 3 to make these projects, they should complete successfully.
