Over the last 15 years, I have had the pleasure to create marionettes for musicians and of musicians. This album celebrates the Squeaking Tribe's first actual merchandise order for Kasey Chambers and Shane Nicholson's beautiful new recording "Wreck & Ruin"! Inspired by the original album artwork of Kerry Evans, 40 of these unique marionettes toured Australia in the summer of 2012. Now they are available for you!
100% handcrafted puppets, marionettes and interactive effigies by Byron Bay-based artists, Sol and Sara. A crazy, colourful and fantastically-fey exhibition of creatures and characters celebrating the vibrant melting-pot of world culture. Everything we make is from found objects and up-cycled materials. As a result, we keep our prices low enough to offset the time and labour involved, selling direct to the public at an accessible wholesale cost. We have a "no frills" approach to packaging and do not purchase unnecessary materials which can be otherwise supplemented by existing recycled materials such as old newspapers, etc.
