As new, oak mid century investment piece from Meier & Pohlmann. Originally intended as a china cabinet, dining room hutch, but as you can see - I had another purpose in mind: a dresser and display cabinet for my bags and accessories. Another idea would be to use the bottom portion as a media cabinet, and utilizing to top portion as a matching display case somewhere else in your room. Other than having the original mauve color refinished, this unit is in near mint condition, and the date is stamped on the back: if I recall it was 1954 - give or take a few, making it nearly sixty years old. The display cabinet up top iis removable (lift off, no screws) as is the step it sits on: the dresser portion is smooth on top and pristine. The sliding glass doors can also be removed: perhaps you can mount this case on the wall? Remove the glass sliders, affix it to the wall, put the glass doors back in place and you're good to go. There is no damage, smells, sticky papers - no nada, just a good, clean piece that will be around forever: it is solid, heavy, and built to last.
