Published in 1952 by Western Lore Press in Los Angeles, California, this soft cover book with illustrated wraps contains full-page, eminently framable industrial art drawings of giant telescopes, monochrome photographs, and details of the construction, mechanics and functions of the telescopes on Palomar mountain.
Written by astrophysicist James S. Fassero, with drawings by astrophysicist Dr. R. W. Porter.
Back wrap, which has scuffs and white lines (unless that is part of the photograph) is illustrated with an image of the Horse Head Nubula in Orion taken with the 200 inch telescope.
