Color illustrations throughout, black and white photographs too. Excellent historical reference book on the Tower of London, Vintage 1971 - Marked "London Her Majesty's Stationary Office". First Printing was 1967.
54 numbered pages that are in good vintage condition with no pen or pencil marks or other signs of use. The booklet and some of the pages have a slight age yellowing that adds to the character. Most every page has at least one illustration or photograph and majority have two or three.
References and gives a good written and pictorial history about so much including a very nice illustration of "Henry VIII, whose personal armours are displayed in the White Tower". The middle page is shown in picture number 5 with an aerial view of the location. The color photo pages are really nice with bright clean colors.
Very cool little guidebook with lots of trivia and historical significance. There is a full pop-out map measuring 15" by 21" at the back page that is in super excellent condition with clear printing and no rips or tears. Maintains its fold out and fold back positions without any bends or creases. Clean.
Overall, this is a very interesting tour style booklet published in London by their Department of Environment.
