As fragile as a Christmas ornament and as light as a feather, this airy glass confection of a vanity bottle is a shimmering delight. The pretty orb is decorated with the gilded wheat stalk theme so popular in the 1960's and '70's. Its minaret glass stopper also has a band of gilt around its base. There are gold initials painted on its shoulder, as may be seen in photo number four, but I can't make out what they represent. This dainty vanity jar is in lovely condition with very, very little loss to the gold leaf.
Measures 5 inches tall overall - 3 inches for the bottle with a 2½ inch inset stopper - about 2½ inches wide.
