A genteel lady cat and her young kitten charge have come out for an airing. She is a white cat, with aqua green eyes, wearing a dress in shades of pink with a high, lacey collar and cuffs. A blue sash accentuates her waist and alternate blue and pink stripes the hem of her skirt. The kitten is a brown tabby with amber colored eyes. He looks mighty spiffy in his little blue and white sailor suit.
These fantasy felines from The Toy Works are in good used, clean condition. The lady cat is a little lumpy and the stuffing wants to leave her waist. They both came with cloth hats when they were new, but when they were found these items were long gone.

"Fiddler's Elbow, a division of The Toy Works, offers hand printed gifts and home décor made in a charming, rural area in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains, in Middle Falls, New York. A quarter of a century ago, John Gunther started the silk-screening company with a handful of workers in an old barn.
He conceived the idea in 1974 after a visit to the Museum of the City of New York, where he viewed an exhibition of the 19th century cloth toys intricately printed using antiquated hand engraved copper rollers. John's mission was to revive this art form using modern silk-screening techniques. This proved to be challenging, as there was no one experienced in full color textile printing, no school to consult. The Toy Works developed the process the hard way, through constant experimentation and soon became the best reproduction silk-screen printer in the country." Credit to mallcarts.com
