This large ironstone pitcher measures about 11 1/2 inches tall, 9 1/4 inches from spout to handle, and 4 5/8th inches across the bottom. It is marked on the base Stone China, but the logo is partially obscured so I can't make out maker. It looks like it might say L. & D. Co.
Please check out my other ironstone offerings! This pitcher has some gold accents along the rim and handle. The years have worn away some of the gold. It looks like someone painted purple/magenta pansies on both sides. I can "feel" the paint and it does not appear to be under the glaze. This would make a great vase and the ribbed design on the bottom is eye-catching. There is crazing and a few minor glaze pop marks. No chips or cracks.
