This FUN Vintage Ceramic Teapot features TOM CAT....A character brought to life by Takahashi of San Francisco and Japan. He appears to be quite suspicious of whatever he sees out of the corner of his eyes. Tom is wearing a red and white stripe tie...Other colors include black and light taupe. Tom's Tail serves as the handle and his head is the lid. The Bottom is stamped with, "Tom Cat Takahashi San Francisco Hand Painted" and there is a "Made in Japan" on paper label Likely from the 1970's....No damage. A Great Vintage Piece!!!
