This is not one of the more common Florida Souvenir plates. This one is brilliantly colorful and fully representative of old world Florida long before theme parks. This plate is from a time when the economy rose and fell according to the orange and citrus crops.
And something that makes it really fun is that they misspelled Tallahassee. They only used one "S".
No chips, cracks or repairs. No makers marks, however, the back states "Design Patented" Gold rim is not in pristine condition, but in overall very good condition. Guessing age to be from 1940's through late 1950's. Approximately 8 1/4" across.
