Cloisonne is an antique technique where thin strips of brass are attached to a brass object in filigree patterns. The glossy enamels in many colors are filled inside patterns then fired in an oven to bake them on.
Beautifully detailed enameled miniature box. Cute by itself this small cloisonne brass box with lid can be used for stashing any variety of tiny treasures. Super cute and useful too.
Box measures approx 2" tall, 1 1/16" diameter bottom, 1 1/2" diameter in the middle (5cm x 2.8cm x 3.7cm).
Stand measures approx 5/8" tall, 1 1/2" diameter (1.5cm x 3.7cm).
