This is a gorgeous vibrant blue art glass bowl by Bischoff. Hand blown, it features controlled bubbles, a pedestal stand and ruffled edge. The bowl is "squished" producing more of an abstract oval shape. Visible pontil on the bottom. It's a fabulous example of American art glass and would make a nice centerpiece or addition to a glass lover's collection.
Bischoff Glass Company was located in Culloden, WV and was in business from 1922-1963. This piece was likely produced toward the later end of that time.
