This is a super cool mid century mod / atomic wall plaque with a 3 dimensional owl family in dark chocolate brown (front) and milk chocolate (back). It was made by Burwood company in the 1950's or 1960's.
It is quite large and made of a wood composite material which is very heavy but durable. The texture is a very realistic and deep woodgrain pattern. It looks so much more amazing in person than photos can show.
Condition: Excellent--no chips, cracks, repairs or damage. There is a little rust on the hanging hardware on the reverse, but overall in exceptional condition.
Dimensions: 11" high x approx. 15" wide x 2-12" deep. It has a wall hanger on the back.
This lovely wall hanging would suit a variety of decorating styles including art deco, Hollywood Regency, mid century modern, tiki, kitsch, atomic, etc.
