Vintage Blue Guatemalan Shirt with Quetzal Bird Embroidery --- Guatemalan Jacket
Guatemalan Vintage top could be worn as a jacket or as a shirt for men or women. I usually wear it open over a t-shirt. This ethnic and traditional piece is stunning with embroidery all over the front and back as well as the collars and cuffs. The original tag is faded but looks like it says 16 on it. The shirts are cotton and have a handmade quality feel.
The top has 4 pockets in front. The bird embroidered on the front and back is of the famous bird in Mexico and Guatemala called the quetzal. Considered by many as the most beautiful sacred bird in the world, it is endangered and very rare. On both sides at the bottom hem are buttoned vents This piece is in very good used vintage condition. It has all the original white buttons, and they hide down the front placket when buttoned up.
