With these authentic French boards there is a great charm and character which is just not found with a modern board.
This chopping board has the unusual feature of a metal strap around the front of the blade to counter the problem of boards splitting along the grain. The handle has a hole for hanging and a knot hole.
Please note that this is a old solid wood item and has ware associated with its age and use. It has erosion areas and cut marks. Please see photos for condition.
